How many forms of ploughshare are commonly used?

   The plow front is the main working part of the plow body. It is installed at the lower part of the plow body, and its function is to cut the soil draft and transport it to the plow wall. The plow front consists of the bottom of the plow, the zinc blade, the wing and the surface. The common plough front can be divided into trapezoidal ploughshare, chisel ploughshare and triangular ploughshare according to its structural form.

   Chisel ploughshare. It is divided into edmund tip, edmund wing, edmund blade, edmund surface and so on. The bottom tip is chisel-shaped, extending10-14mm downward, and some of it is 510mm away from the cultivated land, with a more complex structure. When working, the tip of the share is first lowered into the soil, and then the blade cuts the soil horizontally. The rear end of the share blade is that the share wing is one of the places where the  plough body is attached. From this point to the side plate of the plough, the distance is the width of the single share plough.    Trapezoidal ploughshare. Share blade is a straight line, the whole shape is trapezoidal. Compared with chisel money, poor soil penetration, easy to wear, but the structure is simple, easy to manufacture.

   Triangular share. Generally isosceles triangle, with two symmetrical blades. This kind of share is the most commonly used form of China's animal plow, because its side pressure is small to help the plow, and can shake the handle to adjust the tillage depth, tillage width and easy to take off soil. It is also used in the grille plows of walking tractors. The disadvantage of this trip is that after ploughing the ground surface is easy to be wavy, forming the uneven ditch bottom.

   Ploughshare materials are generally hard and wear-resistant, that is, steel with high strength and toughness, and the edge part must be heat treated.
